Extended Day
This group meets once a week during the winter months to enjoy sewing. Students in 1st-8th
grades make wonderful projects of their own choosing, assisted by Mrs. Schmitt and parent
helpers.
Academics
This group meets twice a month to make and send cards and Christian messages to school
families, St. Paul church members, and people in need within the community. This is a wonderful
service opportunity for students in 1st-8th grades.
St. Paul Lutheran School provides a before school childcare program for all St. Paul students
beginning at 6:45 a.m. and an after school program until 6 p.m. on all full school days. The after
school program provides a safe, fun, and well-supervised atmosphere with specific activities
planned each day by the after school director. There are fees associated with these programs.
Sewing Club
Athletics
Sunshine Club
St. Paul Lutheran School offers a great sports program for students in 4th-8th grades. St. Paul
belongs to the Tri-County Lutheran League. Our athletic teams compete with students from other
Lutheran schools as well as public, private, and charter schools. This is a wonderful opportunity for
young athletes to participate in team sports that are not offered in the public grade school system.
Basketball, volleyball, soccer, and track & field are offered to both boys and girls. Cheerleading is
also offered to girls. Organization of school teams is dependent upon grade level and number of
students who participate in each sport.
The goals of our athletic program are to enhance a student's God-given physical and mental
abilities, teach good sportsmanship, and encourage teamwork and cooperation. Students must
maintain academic eligibility during the respective seasons.
